Rhipsalis is the only member of the cactus group that is native to the Old World - how cool is that?! Their care differs slightly from other cacti because of this, but in a lot of ways, it's actually easier!
This cactus wants bright indirect light (as opposed to most cacti, which want as high of a light as possible), for their soil to be kept very slightly damp, and to stay at least room temperature. Because this grows on the sides of trees in nature, it does very well planted in bark!
It's not every day you can say you have a cactus that isn't from a desert!
