Fittonia originates in South America where it grows mainly as a ground cover.
It can be potted in conventional peat moss based potting soil. Fittonia need
indirect or dappled natural sunlight or fluorescent lighting. Keep soil moist. Mist
frequently, water so soil stays wet but not saturated, or grow in a tray with pebbles
and water. Great terrarium plant! Fertilize gently about every 2 months.
