This plant has a number of common names because of its heart-shaped leaves, including the “sweetheart plant”, and “Valentine Hoya”. These plants are most commonly found as single-leaf cuttings around Valentines Day, and are often called a “sweetheart cactus”. In this single-leaf form it is unlikely to develop into a full plant. However, as a full plant they can climb up to 13 feet tall in the right conditions!
