Ctenanthe are hardy members of the Marantaceae family and ideal for those who enjoy interactive plant care. They feature thin, ornate leaves with striking patterns and often purple undersides, supported by long, structural petioles. More tolerant of occasional dry spells than their relatives, they still thrive with regular care. Like other Prayer Plants, their leaves fold at night in a fascinating display called nyctinasty.
‘Fishbone’ has long, thin pale green leaves with a fishbone-like pattern of dark green veins and a deep purple underside.
