Nerve Plant 'Skeleton' 4"
Fittonia are low-growing plants with small, pointed leaves and colorful veins in shades of white, pink, red, yellow, or green. They thrive in humid environments, making them perfect for terrariums! They’re known for their dramatic “fainting” when soil dries out, but they perk back up within a day once they’re watered. Fittonia also produce unusual cone-like flowers. The genus was named in 1865 by botanist Eugène Coemans in honor of Sara and Elizabeth Fitton, sisters and authors of Conversations on Botany.
A popular nerve plant, ‘Skeleton’ has lovely light green leaves with deep red veins that pop beautifully on every leaf.
This listing is for the plant in a plastic nursery pot.
