Carmona are deep and glossy leaved subtropical trees native to Japan, Indonesia, Taiwan, and Australia, but its popular name comes from its place of origin, Fukien or Fujian, China. They love warm temperatures and high humidity, many in the genus are popular choices for indoor bonsai projects.
Also known as the Fukien Tea Tree, this bonsai has small, glossy oval shaped leaves and a twisting, textured trunk. Small, delicate white flowers will appear throughout the year.
