At the Urban Sprouts Terrarium Studio, you’ll build a living ecosystem designed to last in your space — with guidance the whole way through.
Terrariums are our specialty, but they’re just the beginning. Whether you’re new to plants or ready to build something more intricate, we’ll help you create something meaningful and built to thrive.

$20 per person to reserve your spot.
Materials are selected in-store and priced à la carte.
Most guests spend between $100–$300 depending on what they build.

This isn’t just a project it’s a chance to slow down, learn something new, and create something that lasts.
Our Terrarium Design Studio is a guided, hands-on experience where you’ll create a custom planted ecosystem using tropical plants, moss, stone, and other natural elements. Whether it’s your first time working with plants or you’ve been collecting for years, we’ll meet you where you’re at and guide you through the process.
Most builds take about an hour, and you’ll leave with something that’s not only beautiful, but built to thrive in your space.
Why Terrariums?
Terrariums are miniature ecosystems where plants and other living elements work together to create a balanced environment.
When set up thoughtfully, they can actually be easier to care for than many standalone houseplants. Moisture is retained, nutrients cycle through the system, and everything works together in a way that’s both fascinating and surprisingly low-maintenance.
It’s a small piece of nature, designed to live with you.

Depending on what you’re drawn to, you might explore:
• enclosed or open terrariums
• kokedama (moss-wrapped plants)
• mounted ferns
• preserved moss frames
• aquatic-inspired ecosystems
Every project is a little different — and that’s part of the fun.
