Succulent 'Living Stone'

Lithops, aka living stones, are native to southern Africa. Most of this plant grows underground to protect itself from becoming the snack of a grazing animal. They are hearty light loving plants that do best in direct light. These plants will want to be about a foot away from most grow lights. They are, however, sensitive to overheating. Check to make sure that it is not too hot under the light by using the back of your hand. If its too hot for you, its too hot for them.
