This little buddy is called a Ledebouria socialis ‘Silver Squill’. Silver squill is one tough little plant! It originally came from the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa where it grows in dry savannas and stores moisture in its bulb-like stems.
As houseplants, they are quite easygoing, liking to dry out between waterings and preferring a medium indirect light. They can be easily propagated by separating the bulbs. Your Silver Squill will only get about 10" tall making it an ideal shelf or tabletop plant!
