Hypostes' are a very communicative plant that are easier to read than most, especially for beginners: if they want water, the leaves will droop; if something isn't right with the amount of light they're getting, then their colors will fade. Both problems go away quickly once solved, making this plant straightforward and forgiving!
It loves to be misted, but only wants to be watered once a week (or once about the top 25% of the soil has dried out). As far as light goes, it thrives best in bright indirect light... That's really all there is to this beautiful little guy! Easy peasy.
