Cissus Discolor is a beautifully vining plant that loves to climb and trail on its surroundings, lending a beautiful touch of jungle to any collection.
This vine uses red tendrils that wrap around nearby objects to climb, and the overall effect of the red is absolutely wonderful as a contrasting color to whatever it's climbing on. It also looks stunning trailing from a hanging pot. Be sure to keep up with its repotting needs to allow it grow long and sturdy!
Lighting: Low to medium indirect light
Water: Keep evenly moist, but don't allow for standing water.
Soil/Potting: Plant in a rich, well-draining, organic soil in a container with a drainage hole and made of slightly porous material like ceramic. Repot annually or when plant exhibits discoloration without the presence of any mis-watering habits
Fertilize: Monthly with bacterial inoculant recomended for steady growth and to promote flowering
Temperature: Room temp, protect from harsh fluctuations in temperature particularly in the winter
Toxicity: Non-toxic to humans and pets.
